Number of persons

2 veal cutlets

2 slices of smoked ham

2 slices of Beaufort (with other Savoy cheese)

25 g flour

2 eggs

50 g breadcrumbs

1 tablespoon of oil


Preparation time: 15 min
Cooking time: 15 min
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C (thermostat 6).
Step 2
Bread the cutlets successively in flour, egg and breadcrumbs.
Stage 3
Oil a gratin dish and arrange the cutlets side by side.
Step 4
Put the slices of ham on the cutlets and cover with the cheese.
Step 5
Add pepper and cook for 15 minutes.
Step 6
Serve very hot with dolphin apples for example.
Author's note
Beaufort cheese can be replaced by Emmental cheese or grated cheese provided that it covers the ham well. Very simple and quick. Ideal when you come home late.
