1 fairly large red beetroot

Fryer oil

Preparation: 10 min
Cooking time: 6 min
Step 1
After peeling the beet (if necessary), cut it into very, very thin slices, like crisps.
Step 2
Heat the oil in the deep fryer to temperature.
Step 3
Place the slices in the basket and plunge them in for cooking.
Step 4
Fry for 3 minutes on each side.
Step 5
After 6 minutes, drain, salt lightly and place on a plate.
