500 g raw beetroot

50 g butter

4 tablespoons of fresh cream

2 tablespoons of sugar

2 cloves of garlic

Parsley

Pepper

Salt



Preparation
TOTAL TIME: 40 MIN
Preparation: 10 min
Cooking time: 30 min
Step 1
Peel and cut the beets into very thin slices.
Stage 2
Cover and cook with the butter, stirring occasionally until the beets are tender.
Stage 3
Sprinkle with sugar and add the pressed garlic.
Step 4
Let cook again but do not cover so that the beet slices caramelize a little.
Step 5
Salt, pepper and parsley
Step 6
Add the cream just before serving.
Author's note
It goes very well with poultry cutlets. For faster cooking use vacuum-packed beets.
