Chard Lasagna

Chard Lasagna

Number of persons

1 onion

1 can of peeled tomatoes

600 g ground beef

40 g butter

40 g flour

50 cl milk

10 chard (for a large dish)



Olive oil

1/2 sugar cube

Grated Gruyère cheese (optional)

Preparation: 30 min
Cooking time: 50 min
Step 1
Mince the onion. Fry it in a little olive oil. Once the onions are translucent, sauté the minced meat. Add the peeled tomatoes cut into small pieces.
Step 2
Season with salt and pepper, add the 1/2 sugar cube. Simmer for about 20 minutes.
Step 3
Prepare the chard ribs: wash them well and remove the damaged parts.
Step 4
Prepare a béchamel sauce: melt the butter, add the flour and stir with a whisk. It should make small balls
Step 5
Pour the milk gradually while stirring. This sauce should be quite thick.
Stage 6
Garnish the bottom of a dish with a layer of chard ribs. Pour the tomato sauce on top. Put back a layer of chard ribs, cover with the béchamel sauce.
Step 7
Finish with a layer of chard ribs. You can possibly cover with grated Gruyere cheese.
Step 8
Put the dish in the oven at 180°C (thermostat 6) for about 30 minutes.
