500 g brussels sprouts

250 g smoked bacon

2 shallots

100 g butter

Nutmeg

Pepper

Salt

Cooking time: 35 min

First prepare the Brussels sprouts: clean them, then wash them by plunging them into several baths of cold water.
Then cook them for 15 to 20 minutes in a pan of boiling salted water. At the end of cooking, put them under cold running water to cool them down, then drain them.
Cut the bacon into strips.
Brown the bacon in a buttered casserole and let it brown.
Peel and chop the shallots.
Throw the shallots into the casserole with the bacon to brown.
Finally add the Brussels sprouts. Season by sprinkling salt, pepper and nutmeg on top and sauté with the rest of the preparation.
Stir well and serve immediately.
