500 g butter

100 g sugar

20 g salt

30 g of yeast

100 g of chocolate

1 egg (optional)

Once the puff pastry has been made and you have spread the dough, do not detail triangles, but small rectangles the width of a chocolate bar. Put the chocolate bar on the dough rectangle and roll it up.
As with the croissants, you can freeze the chocolate bars at this stage.
Put the chocolate loaves on a baking sheet, taking care to press down a little with your hand so that they do not unroll as they swell. Let them swell for 1h30 to 2h30 at room temperature until they almost double in volume.
Brown the chocolate loaves and put them in the hot oven at 230°C for 15 to 20 minutes.
