1 white onion
500 g fresh clams
75 g butter
60 cl dry white wine
1 sprig of finely chopped parsley
1 pinch of salt
1 pinch of pepper

Cooking time: 20 min
Melt the butter in a stewpot over a low heat, brown the thinly sliced onion, add the parsley and mix.
Add the clams and season with salt and pepper. Cover and stir frequently.
Once the clams are open (5 min), add the white wine and cook over high heat for 10 min, stirring occasionally.
