500 g flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)

2 beaten eggs

175 g caster sugar

1 teaspoon of liquid vanilla

15 cl milk

1 tablespoon melted butter

Cooking time: 2 min
Mix flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.
In another bowl, combine the eggs (beaten), sugar and vanilla. Stir until the mixture is thick.
Combine the milk and melted butter, add the flour mixture and beat until smooth.
Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
On a floured board, roll out the dough to a thickness of about 1 cm. Cut out the doughnuts using a bowl or other.
Fry for one minute or until lightly browned, then turn over with a skimmer on the other side and cook again for another minute.
Remove from the fryer and place on a paper towel.
