Number of persons

250 g flour

1 egg

1.5 tablespoons of sugar .

1/2 sachet of yeast

1/2 sachet vanilla sugar

1.5 tablespoon of rum

8 cl milk

1 pinch of salt

75 g melted butter

twist of lemon

In a food processor, mix the flour, pinch of salt, yeast, sugar and vanilla sugar.
Add the egg, melted butter... and to finish, the lemon zest, rum and 1/2 glass of milk.
Work the dough into a ball. The dough must be elastic: if it is too soft add a little flour; if it is too hard add a little milk.
Leave the dough to rest for half an hour.
Roll out the dough to a thickness of 5 mm. Cut into 10 cm x 4 cm strips and make a 5 cm incision in the centre.
Plunge the bugnes into the frying pan, turn them over once and drain them on absorbent paper.
Sprinkle with icing sugar and serve hot.
