1 kg of potatoes

60 g grated cheese

25 cl fresh cream

30 g butter

1 clove of garlic

Pepper

Salt

Cooking time: 55 min

Peel and cut the potatoes into thin slices.
Rub the gratin dish with the garlic clove.
Arrange the potato slices, the grated Gruyère cheese and the cream on top of each other and season with salt and pepper. Repeat the process all the way to the top of the dish and finish on a layer of potatoes.
Add a knob of butter.
Cook at 200°C (thermostat 6) for 50 minutes and then 5 minutes at 240°C (thermostat 8).
Taste immediately.
