125 g of semolina

1 l milk

100 g sugar

3 eggs

1 vanilla bean

Cooking time: 30 min
Bring the milk to the boil with the sugar and 1 split vanilla pod (or other flavour).
Discard the semolina and stir with a wooden spoon for 5 to 10 minutes over low heat. Let the semolina swell a little.
Remove from the heat, add the eggs and mix well. Pour the preparation into a buttered rectangular mould.
Cook in the oven at 180°C (gas mark 6) for 30 minutes.
