100 g caster sugar

125 g crystal sugar

125 g flour

125 g semi-salted or salted butter to taste

4 apples

4 red plums

1 vanilla bean

1 teaspoon cinnamon




Preparation apple plum crumble

Preparation time: 20 min
Cooking time: 45 min
Peel the apples, remove the cores and cut them roughly into squares.
Remove the pits from the plums and cut them into squares.
Arrange the fruit in a casserole dish with the caster sugar, vanilla bean seeds and cinnamon. Mix well.
Preheat the oven to 180°C, gas mark 6.
Prepare the crumble: mix the granulated sugar, flour and cold salted butter cut into small squares in a bowl. This should form lumps.
Spread over the fruit, it should be covered.
Put in the oven for 30 to 45 minutes. The top should be well coloured!
Serve lukewarm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream if you like, but solo is delicious!
Can also be served in small individual dishes, but you'll have to watch the cooking.
