Ingredients caramel peanut bars
Number of bars

130 grams of peanut butter.

140 g plain peanut.

1 can of sweetened condensed milk

120 g golden syrup (or liquid honey)

130 g butter

150 g flour

Preparation caramel peanut bars
Total Time: 45 min
Preparation time: 15 min
Cooking time: 30 min
Preheat the oven to 185°C.
Melt 100 g butter with 60 g Golden Syrup (or honey). Stir in the 150 g flour and mix well.
Line a square baking tin (approx. 18.28) with baking paper.
Press the dough made earlier into the mould.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, it should be golden brown.
Mix the condensed milk, the 30 g of butter, the 130 g of peanut butter and the remaining 60 g of Golden Syrup (or honey) in a saucepan over medium heat.
Boil for 3-5 minutes, stirring to prevent the bottom from sticking. Add a pinch of salt.
Pour the mixture over the dough. Crush the peanuts and sprinkle them. Bake for 15min, the top should be golden brown.
Leave to cool for 2 hours before cutting into bars.
Keep them in an airtight box in the fridge.
