For the salted butterscotch:

15 sugar squares

20 g semi-salted butter
For French toast:

1 round ball bread

2 eggs

60 cl milk

1 sachet of vanilla sugar

Cooking time: 15 min
Start by melting the sugar squares and semi-salted butter in a saucepan and stirring for about 10-15 min to obtain a smooth caramel (add a little milk if necessary).
Leave the caramel on a low heat while preparing the French toast.
On the side, cut 4 slices of about 1 cm from the round bread (you need a lot of crumb and little crust) and dip them in the beaten eggs into an omelette then in the heated milk with a sachet of vanilla sugar.
Melt butter in a frying pan and place the slices of bread in it.
Once golden, cover the bread slices with caramel.
Serve immediately.
