Ingredients lemon meatballs

1 kg of minced meat (beef and pork)

100 g breadcrumbs

1 egg

10 sprigs of lemon thyme



1 can of peeled tomatoes

4 onions

4 tablespoons peanut butter or crushed peanuts

Preparation lemon meatballs

Preparation time: 15 min
Cooking time: 1 h
Mix the meat, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, pepper and chopped lemon thyme.
Shape the meatballs.
Roast the meatballs in a little olive oil and then brown the onion rings.
Place the peeled tomatoes, onions and meatballs in a thick-bottomed saucepan. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Cook the preparation over low heat for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Incorporate the peanut butter or crushed peanuts into the sauce. Let simmer over very low heat for 15 minutes.
Adjust the seasoning with salt, pepper and pili pili.
Serve with rice or plain potatoes.
