Ingredients lexovian scones

250 g flour Type 55

1 tablespoon heavy cream

3 tablespoons of sugar

1 egg yolk

1 sachet of baking powder

1 sachet of vanilla sugar

25 cl milk

50 g semi-salted butter

Put the flour in a bowl, add the baking powder, sugar and mix. Add the butter cut into small cubes to the flour. Mix with your fingers.
Once the elements are well mixed, add the cream, egg yolk and milk. Mix until the dough is soft.
Roll out the dough, it should be about 2 cm thick and use a cookie cutter.
Once the scones are cut, brush them with egg yolk to get a nice brown colour when baking. Bake at 200°C (gas mark 6-7) for 15 to 20 minutes and enjoy warm.
