1.5 kg semi-dry beans (white beans to be shelled)

25 g semi-salted butter

4 cloves of garlic

1 onion

2 carrots

1 can of tomato pulp (size 1/4)

Salt

Pepper

Cooking time: 1 h
Peel the garlic, onion and carrots and cut them into rings.
Shell the beans and fry them in butter. Add the garlic, onion, carrots and tomato pulp.
Mix and cover with water.
Season with salt and pepper.
Simmer for about 1 hour, checking the mogettes for tenderness.
Serve hot with grilled Vendee ham.
