50 g semi-salted butter

8 slices of smoked bacon

10 bintje potatoes (or charlotte)

1 tablespoon coarse Guérande sea salt

Cooking time: 30 min
Blanch the potatoes in quarters.
In a pot (or a large saucepan), melt the butter and add the cut potatoes.
Brown the slices of bacon and put them aside (the cooking juices can be kept for the gourmets).
Once the potatoes are golden brown, reduce the heat and add coarse salt (a little pepper if you like).
Cover with a lid and leave to brown (to finally obtain the "krichen") while stirring from time to time without mashing them (gourmets can add the cooking juices from the bacon).
Leave to cook for about 30 min.
