250 g semi-salted butter

1 can of tomato paste (about 150 g)

1 lemon juice

3 cans of sardines in oil (about 9 sardines)

In a blender (or with a fork for the bravest!) mix the soft butter, tomato paste, lemon juice and drained sardines.
Blend until a smooth salmon-coloured cream is obtained (about 5 min in a blender).
Add the thyme and a little harissa to slightly increase the taste (be careful not to add too much: taste as you go along!) I put about a full tablespoon of it.
Put it in the fridge a few hours before serving with good bread.
