250 g flour
250 g semi-salted butter
125 g icing sugar
125 g cornstarch

Cooking time: 12 min
Mix the softened butter and icing sugar.
Add the flour and cornstarch.
The dough will first be "powdered" and then will gradually become homogeneous (do not add water!!!).
Spread the dough on 1.5 cm thick then cut with a cookie cutter (or coffee cup!).
Or simpler: make balls and crush them lightly ...
Bake at 180°C for about 12 min, the shortbread should remain rather white (but it depends on taste...).
Sprinkle with sugar when they come out of the oven.
This recipe is easier with a blender...
