100 g soft semi-salted butter

100 g sugar

3 egg yolks

100 g flour

Cooking time: 45 min
Beat 4 egg yolks with the sugar until white. Add the softened butter and cut into pieces, then the flour.
Knead the dough by hand, then spread it in a buttered springform pan to form a thick cake. Brush with egg yolk.
Decorate by making drawings in the dough according to inspiration.
Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (gas mark 6-7) for 25 minutes. Lower to 150°C (gas mark 5) and continue baking for about 20 minutes.
Leave to cool and remove from the mould.
