Cinnamon nutmeg cakes

Ingredients Cinnamon nutmeg cakes

400 g flour

4 g baking powder

1 pinch of salt

1 level teaspoon of nutmeg

1 level teaspoon cinnamon

1 teaspoon vanilla

125 g soft butter

50 g vegetable butter (margarine)

2 eggs

200 g sugar

Cooking time: 15 min
In a bowl mix the flour, salt, sugar, yeast, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Add the butter and margarine in pieces.
Mix with your fingertips to form an almost sandy consistency.
Add the eggs and vanilla, work the dough a little to form a ball.
Leave the dough to rest in the fridge for 30 minutes covered with cling film.
Spread the dough on a floured surface and use cookie cutters to form the dry cakes.
Place them on a baking sheet covered with baking paper or aluminium foil.
Bake at 180°C (gas mark 6) for about 15 minutes.
