200 g soft butter

150 g sugar

250 g flour

2 teaspoons of baking yeast

2 teaspoons ginger powder

4 eggs

5 pears

1 tablespoon brown sugar

Cooking time: 45 min
Mix 175 g of softened butter with the sugar until frothy.
Add the sifted flour/yeast mixture, then the ginger and eggs. Mix until the dough is smooth.
Pour the dough into a buttered springform pan (26 cm).
Preheat the oven to 180°C (gas mark 6) on fan heat).
Peel the pears and cut them into slices before laying them on the dough. Sprinkle with brown sugar.
Sprinkle the pears with the remaining butter. Bake in the oven for 45 min (add 10 min if the oven does not have fan heat).
