1 large can of pears in syrup (425 g of pears)

250 g flour

125 g soft butter

180 g sugar

2 eggs

1 bag of yeast

100 g of chocolate

Cooking time: 1 h
Preheat the oven to 180°C (gas mark 6) and line the cake tin with baking paper.
Cut the pears into cubes and reserve the syrup.
Melt the butter and sugar over a low heat until they mix.
Beat the eggs with about a third of the pear syrup and fold the mixture into the flour.
Add the sugar and butter. Add the chopped pears and chocolate.
Bake at 180°C (gas mark 6) for 1 hour.
