2 cans of sardines in oil

100 g soft butter

1 lime or yellow lemon

Salt, if necessary

Drain the sardines.
Blend the butter to obtain a soft dough.
Stir in the drained sardines, lemon juice and blend.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Serve with toast.
Serve in a small terrine or small individual dishes as an appetizer or starter.
