Ingredients Crumpets

400 g flour

1 teaspoon of baking soda

1 teaspoon of sugar

1/2 teaspoon of salt

1 teaspoon of baker's yeast

75 cl of lukewarm water

Dissolve the baker's yeast in the water.

Mix the dry ingredients and pour over the lukewarm water and the diluted yeast. Whisk until the mixture is smooth.

Take metal circles (flan, egg ...) and place them on a hot pan.

Fill the circles to a thickness of about 3 to 4 mm.

Cook over low heat (do not let the bottom of the crumpet burn) for about 10 minutes, or until bubbles appear on the top.

Remove the circles and cover the crumpets so that the top side cooks (2 to 3 minutes).

Cool on a wire rack.
