Mix the ingredients. Use the correct amount of flour to form a smooth dough that no longer sticks to the hand and is not very solid.

Date paste:

Mix these last ingredients in the machine, or by hand, to form a homogeneous paste.

Divide each of the two pasta into 4.

Take part of the dough, roll it out with the rolling pin to form a rectangle 1/2 cm thick.

You can use nylon papers, below and above the paste, it will make your job easier.

Do the same with a quarter of the date paste (with this the nylon paper is essential, because it sticks to the roller (you can cut a plastic bag, for example).

You must have the 2 pasta (flour and dates) spread in the same measure.

Remove the nylon paper above the date paste, then bring the paste with the nylon paper which is on top of the paste, and put it on the flour paste top to bottom.

Then remove the nylon paper, which should now be on top.

Roll both layers into a firm roll.

Repeat the same procedure for the other 3 parts of the 2 pasta.

It seems complicated to talk about it but it's very easy to apply!

As soon as the 4 rolls are prepared, put them in the refrigerator to make them strong enough to be able to cut them.

Remove the rolls, one by one, from the fridge, and cut them into 1/2 cm thick slices.

Put in a non-stick mold, sufficiently spaced, and bake at 180 ° C (th 6), until the cookies turn pink.
