Preparation  Healthy and delicious energy bars
Total Time : 50 min
Preparation: 20 min
Cooking: 30 min
Roast the cashews for 10 min in the oven at 160 ° C (thermostat 5-6).
During this time, quickly mix the nuts to obtain pieces then pour them in a large salad bowl with the oatmeal, cranberries, salt and baking soda. Mix.
Mix the cashews, adding the rapeseed oil little by little until you obtain a very smooth and slightly runny paste (adapt the dose of rapeseed oil to achieve this consistency).
Add the sugar, dates and maple syrup.
Mix again without trying to obtain a very smooth dough.
Add this dough to the salad bowl and mix with both hands to mix everything well. You get a fairly compact dough that you can knead.
Rinse your hands. Then spread this dough on a baking sheet covered with baking paper.
Start roughly by hand then finish with a roller to obtain a square 1 cm to 1.5 cm thick.
If the dough sticks to the roller, you can cover with another sheet of baking paper that you remove before placing in the oven.
Place in the oven (rather towards the bottom of the oven) at 160 ° C (thermostat 5-6) for 30 min.
Take out of the oven and cut the bars to the size you want.
Let cool before peeling off the bars.
You can wrap each bar in cellophane and place everything in a plastic bag with zip. They will keep for several months.
