336 g of margarine

336 g of sugar

392 g of golden syrup a very sweet syrup, between maple syrup and caramel syrup. They can be found in grocery stores selling British products.

224 g of milk , white or dark chocolate according to your preferences

4 teaspoons of yeast

2 teaspoons of baking soda

Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and sugar.

Knead everything with the margarine, until the ball crumbles.

Add the Golden syrup to form a soft and creamy paste, but which holds.

Add the chocolate chips.

Shape into small balls, about the size of 1 tablespoon, and flatten them lightly on top, to make large, flat cookies.

Place these balls on baking paper, on a baking sheet.

Bake at 180 ° C (thermostat 6) for 15 minutes maximum (if your oven heats up a lot, it is better to reduce).

Let them cool on a plate or platter.
