For the béchamel

2 tablespoons of flour


2 glasses of milk


Pepper


Salt


Paprika

1 puff pastry


250 g diced ham


100 g of Gruyere


1 egg yolk




Preparation  Ham and cheese friand

Preparation: 20 min
Cooking: 15 min
Preheat your oven to 180 °, thermostat 6.
Prepare a béchamel sauce: cut the butter into small pieces and melt it in a saucepan. Add the flour, stirring continuously. Salt, pepper and add paprika (or other spice according to your taste and your spice cupboard). Add the milk and stir until thickened.
When the béchamel has set, add the Gruyère off the heat and then the diced ham.
Roll out your puff pastry. Make 6 strips in the dough (3 in the height and 3 in the width).
Fill with the filling.
Close the puff pastry then with a fork, seal the edges.
Using a brush, brush the fondants with egg yolk.
Place them on a baking sheet covered with a sheet of parchment paper.
Bake until the treat is golden (about 15-20 min) and serve.
