Ingredients
  

  • 3 large ripe bananas about 1 ½ cups mashed
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted and cooled
  • ¾ cup packed light brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs room temperature
  • ½ cup plain yogurt
  • 1 ½ teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour scooped and leveled
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon fine sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Optional Ingredients:

  • ½ –¾ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup toasted walnuts or pecans
  • Dash of ground nutmeg ⅛ teaspoon

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9 × 5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, mash bananas until mostly smooth.
  • Whisk in butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, yogurt, and vanilla until glossy.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  • Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  • Stir in chocolate chips or nuts if using.
  • Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 55–65 minutes, tenting with foil if the top browns too quickly.
  • Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Slice and enjoy every cozy, banana-packed bite!
