  • 6 oz whole milk

  • ¼ tsp pure vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¼ tsp instant coffee for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Brew 2 oz of espresso and set aside.
  • In a saucepan, gently heat milk, mascarpone, brown sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Froth the warm milk mixture using a frother or by shaking in a jar.
  • Pour the espresso into a mug, add warm milk, and spoon foam over the top.
  • Dust with cocoa powder and a pinch of instant coffee. Serve immediately.

Notes

Contains dairy. You can easily substitute dairy-free milk and use a coconut-based yogurt in place of mascarpone if needed. Use fresh, strong espresso for best results.
